Pumpkin Patch #2

We decided to go to a local  pumpkin patch this year and pick out our family pumpkin.  We found a place not to far from our house that had acres of fun.  We started out in the maze.  This was mostly just fun for Mom, Dad and Nana.  We then decided to go pick out our pumpkin.  Each family was able to pick a carving pumpkin and then a baby pumpkin.  We thought Samantha would have so much fun picking out a pumpkin, but we were wrong.  She wouldn't let Grandpa put her down!  She didn't even want to hold the pumpkins we tried to show her.

We then moved on to the horse ride.  Samantha had fun but was unsure of the experience the whole time!  She rode the horse as long as I had a good grip on her.  Next, we all went to the petting zoo and saw the goats.  She was able to pet a few of them.  Daddy had the most fun here as he made sure to pet all the animals he could find, even the ones that weren't directly in the "petting" area. 

 

 

We then took a detour to the play area to let Samantha get some of her wiggles out.  She really likes to slide right now and likes it even more if she can climb up the ladder by herself. She is becoming such a big girl.

At this point we all needed a rest!  We sat down to enjoy story time and snacks before ending our day on a hayride.  It was a fun day.
